Meetings:

Youth Group meetings are held every Wednesday from 6-7:30pm.
(Eat at Soup's On, then stop by for a small group discussion!)

Who are we?

Youth in grades 6-8 (Jr. High) and 9-12 (Sr. High) are eligible to participate in youth group.

What is our mission?

Our formal mission is to BRING teens to Christ, GROW in our faith, and SERVE others!

Informally, our mission is to make and sustain Christian friendships while having a TON of fun!

Three examples of how we've shown the love of Christ over the past year:

1. In April, we participated in our annual "30 Hour Famine", where we raised money for world hunger, fasted for 30 hours, and did service projects for the Nehemiah Mission in downtown Cleveland. We broke our fast with a huge plate of spaghetti, garlic toast, and salad!
2. In June, we attended Youth Annual Conference, in Lakeside, OH. It is a weekend filled with youth-related legislative sessions, Christian music, inspirational speakers, friendly competitions, and ice cream from the Patio!!
3. In June, we attended our annual Youth Led, Youth Designed Work Mission Trip. This year, we went to Williamsport, PA and performed various service projects around the city (painting, repairing roofs, moving pews, etc.). We have one recreation day on our trips and this year we went to Knoebels Amusement Park. Youth and adults alike are invited on this trip every year.
   Planning for the 2012 trip starts in October 2011!
